Under the 15th Amendment to the Constitution Voting is a Right Not a "Racial Entitlement"

Summary:

Under the 15th Amendment to the Constitution No U.S. Citizen Will Be Stopped from Voting Because of "race, color, or previous condition of servitude." It is a RIGHT not a "Racial Entitlement"

Chris Matthews cites how ridiculous it was for Supreme Court Justice Scalia to call the Voting Rights Act a racial entitlement.

Under the 15th Amendment to the Constitution, the "right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude." That amendment was ratified in 1870 under the administration of President Grant, one of my heroes.

Mr. Matthews goes on to list some of the ways that states have tried to suppress the right to vote for non-whites. He closes by reminding Justice Scalia that the right to vote is indeed a right and not a benefit, like Food Stamps or Medicare.

Another Reason That (Microsoft) Windows 7 (Ultimate 64-Bit) Is Freaking Awesome!

So... I was in the middle of something earlier, and all of a sudden, the new(-ish) RAM that I bought made the notebook crash (BSOD)... yet again. While I was waiting for it to do its job when it BS (ha, BS), I thought,"Oh, crap, Windows Update wanting for me to restart the laptop; I hope that it doesn't mess anything up!". Nope. 7 decided to be freaking awesome and install all of the updates, no problem, and I didn't even have to restart again! As much crap as I (as well as everyone) give Microsoft, in the end... you cool Microsoft, you cool.

Recommended Software (Microsoft Windows)

Foreword: This list may or may not, as I feel like it (that's just the truth), may be updated from time to time, including, but not limited to: revising version numbers, ensuring hotlinks work/finding new ones, refilling the coffee maker, feeding the cats, feeding the cats to dog - I mean... onto the next thing on the list; taking the cows out to pasture, oh and checking for spelling errors and adding in new and relevant content. This post is subject to change with or without notice, monkeys eat bananas, and you accept this list as the independent black woman that it is, with no warranty, written, explicit, implied or otherwise (that came out dirty (so did that)). You have thuslee be warned! Oooh! Wooo! (or something like that) ... *whistles* Anyhoo... onto the actual post!

Here's some pretty cool stuff that you should like, use, and stuff. Also, here's a legend so that you can tell if it's cool to just like, use it for whatever, or, like, not for whatever.. and stuff.

OOH, BY THE WAY! Before I forget: If you couldn't tell by the title, this is a three-part mini-series, or something like that, and each one is specific to a different type of OS. So come back next week (er, better yet, make it a year or so) and I'll have the one for Apple up (maybe (possibly (probably shouldn't get your hopes up (yea'.. it's not gonna' happen))))...

(Most Definitely Not) Red: Cannot, in fact, use it for whatever, and stuff.
(It's All Cool) Blue: All good for using it for whatever, and stuff.
(Sort of) Orange: You can probably use this for whatever, but you might have to ask, or something. IDK.

Also, company name is next to the product name, and version number is somewhere in there as well (if I could/felt like finding it).
